Craft Base layers - From ethnic to grahic

Press Release / 23.09.2011
In winter 2011/12, sportswear specialist CRAFT proudly demonstrates where the brand comes from – and where it is heading: The Swedish brand presents its legendary baselayer range Active with ethnic prints and traditional Scandinavian patterns. For the Active Extreme garments CRAFT focuses on graphic patterns that interplay with the unique structure of the fabric.

It’s the classic in CRAFT’s baselayer range and performs perfectly in fair to cold weather conditions: Thanks to its two-layer knit with a denier gradient, Active creates a fantastic microclimate even during high-intensity work-outs and is known for its soft comfort. In winter 2011/12, CRAFT emphasizes the brand’s heritage with traditional Nordic patterns. At a closer look, the ethnic design reveals little graphical icons, cross-country skiers or alpine skiers and runners.

CRAFT’s Active Extreme is a very lightweight, highly elastic twolayer knit which combines two fibres in a unique denier gradient knitting technique: CoolMax® hexachannel fibres on the inside guarantee great moisture management. Whereas on the outer, CRAFT uses ultra-fine Thermolite® polyester hollow-fibres with excellent insulation properties. This high-tech design is underlined by graphic patterns that dynamically correspond with the structure of the fabric. Zero Extreme’s straight, linear construction plays with the movement of the colour blockings, squares and stripes – a perfect mirror of high-tech in motion!
