Based on soft, elastic, laminated lightness, CRAFT’s new Performance Nordic Light Jacket promises pure XC-skiing joy. The soft shell jacket was designed for comfortable runs on crisp days and was inspired by a true Olympian: CRAFT is applying the expertise and technology used in the crosscountry racing suit of the Swedish national team. State-ofthe-art fabrics, CRAFT’s unique ‘Moving Wing’ technology and the detailed ergonomic fit make the Nordic Light Jacket outshine the ordinary.For its new Performance Nordic Light Jacket CRAFT uses a high-tech soft shell fabric, which delivers effective moisture management, keeps the body comfortable and offers full wind protection. The lightweight, body-mapped garment also utilizes a complex seam technology. Thus the ergonomic 3D cut offers fantastic freedom of movement despite its athletic fit, which avoids superfluous material.
A decisive part of the unique fit is CRAFT’s proprietary ‘Moving Wing’ technology: a highly elastic fleece insert over the upper back and around the shoulders guarantees optimal release, especially crucial for the intense arm movements of cross-country skiing. The technical fleece fabric combines two fibres, a cooling hexachannel yarn on the inside ensures great moisture management, while insulating Thermolite® hollowfibres on the outside keep the body warm. CRAFT also uses the ThermoCoolTM fleece as lining for the soft inner cuffs as well as on the collar.
