5th AXA (Sweden)

7th Merrel Adventure Addicts (South Africa)
8th Cyanosis (South Africa)

So whats all this about you ask,

Try and process the following, finish an Ironman (226km)then start it again, then finish that the 2nd time and do it again a 3rd time, then just to make sure you havenâ€™t been slacking off tack another 50km on, that should clock up about 700 plus kms, now do this on minimal sleep, in one of the harshest climates, over a variable terrain and you have The AR (Adventure Racing)World Champs. Currently well under way and already won in the wilds of north west and western Tassie, with the Scandinavians taking 4 of the top 6 spots, Team Seagate and probably local favourites got to the podium and had it not been for an early time penalty they woulda coulda shoulda been #1, but copped the 4hr penalty on the chin and saw their opponents Thule Adventure and Silva (at that time in 2nd and 3rd) both pass them while waiting this penalty out and clinch victory and second at the last transition, 35k from the end, Seagate fought to the end, clawing back half the deficit to Silva in the last ride, it just wasnâ€™t quite enough.
