Ever wanted to walk on water?

Due to an overwhelming demand, Extreme World Races (EWR) have extended their £1,999 offer for a place as part of history. This is the first time a race of this sort has been attempted. With over nine years of organising races in the World’s most inhospitable places, who better than EWR to make this happen for those who are brave enough to compete.

Starting their Race in the ancient Cossack city of Irkutsk and competing in one of the world’s most beautiful wildernesses, this is an entirely new category of endurance racing and an incredible chance to experience the unique challenge of racing on ice in Siberia. Tony Martin, CEO of EWR, describes the race as “Longer than England,
colder than vodka and harder than granite”.

Not only is the race itself an incredible challenge but once finished ‘Marathon’ competitors will have a chance to complete the experience with a memorable journey on the legendary Trans-Siberian Express. As the longest and most iconic rail journey in the world, the Trans-Siberian is one of the great adventures in travel; vast wildernesses, magical landmarks and cultures add to the experience.

Racers will have to be self-sufficient on the ice with temperatures as low as -40•C and winds of up to 100km/h as they race either the 155 mile ‘Sprint’ or 379 mile ‘Marathon’ by bike, ski, foot, kite-ski or kite buggy.
