The Vanuatu Adventure Race – Millennium Cave Multisport – May 24th
The Multisports and a more versatile Adventure race are being made possible by the purchase of 30 inflatable kayaks sponsored by ANZ, paddling is going to be a big feature of all the events, from paddling in lagoons, island hopping or down rivers, Vanuatu now can show the best of what it has to offer
This amazing event will see teams Mountain Bike from Luganville, Santo up to a village using mainly dirt roads and they will also Mountain Bike along an old WWII Runway for Bombers.
From the Villages they will trek on foot and then descend down into a steep canyon where they will find the entrance of the famous Millennium Cave
Teams then will travel underground seeing many bats and an underground waterfall coming out at the junction of another river.
From here they will go canyoning down the Lost River and then tubing to the exit point where they will climb up and trek back to their bikes.
Back down the way they came, through Luganville and out to one of the famous Blue Holes where they will inflate their kayaks and paddle down a river, circle Oyster Island and finish at Turtle Bay Lodge.
