ARWS Qualifier the Gold Rush Mother Lode Expedition Race is accepting applications to come race our World Class course in the Sierra's

" August 8-12th some of the best adventure racers in the world will race over an epic course through the Sierra Nevada mountain range. As the last chance to qualify in 2012 for the AR World Championships in France in September, teams from all over the world will be descending on the West Coast for what will surely be one of the best expedition races in the world, the GRML.

Already we have teams coming from many different countries to include, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Spain, Canada, Europe and more. Teams will race for 5 days through some of the most epic and jaw dropping terrain on the planet, digging deep inside themselves to finish the course.

The course will include over 350 miles of some of the most beautiful yet arduous terrain teams will have ever faced, and when they cross the finish line as a complete team, they will know they have been tested, and will have some of the most amazing and profound memories of their lives. We have received tremendous interest from many of the top teams in the world, and we expect the field to be VERY competitive, with many of the top teams from the U.S to attend as well to include last years winners Tecnu adventure racing, Nuun/Sportsmulti and others.

Entry fee includes a great start and finish venue, watercraft, maps, bibs, the most amazing swag you will ever see at an Expedition race, and much more, and gives you the rare opportunity to test yourself at one of the most spectacular races you will ever do. We have lots of fun bits to surprise you, to test and push your resolve, and know that you will treasure the memories from this race for many years to come. This race will be supported to save your team money, and we are giving a $600- discount off the entry fee to international teams living outside the United States to help you with the travel expenses of coming to our event.

We also want to honor the achievements of the top 5 teams from the AR World Championships from Tasmania in November by giving them a $1000- discount off our entry fee so that they can come race this amazing race.
