Merrell Signs on for Year Two as MOMAR's Presenting Sponsor

The Mind Over Mountain Event Company has announced that Merrell, internationally recognized leaders in performance outdoor and active lifestyle shoes and apparel, will be sponsoring the Atmosphere Mind Over Mountain Adventure Racing Series (MOMAR) for a second year.
MOMAR will begin the 2012 season on the slopes of Burnaby Mountain on June 2nd. The final event returns to the historic mining town of Cumberland on September 22nd.
According to MOMAR race director, Bryan Tasaka, MOMAR participants will get a firsthand chance to test out Merrell gear. "This year, we are really pleased to be able to give all MOMAR participants, both racers and volunteers, some Merrell gear," says Tasaka. "Each participant will receive a Merrell technical t-shirt, and an additional $2000 worth of Merrell prizing will be given out at the races this year."
The MOMAR is an off-road multisport race that requires teams to mountain bike, kayak, orienteer, and trek through a series of checkpoints. Each race has two course options, a 30km Sport Course and a 50km Enduro Course. The MOMAR series has staged 33 races in British Columbia, Canada over 12 race seasons.
