Big Prize Money in New Danish Adventure Race!

West Coast Explorer sets new standards for adventure racing in Denmark with its huge cash prizes ($ 10,000), expedition style and unique nature. The race is the first Danish race with international style and it has been recognized as a Euro Series test-race this year.
Denmark is not far from Sweden. Many Danish adventure racers seek adventure race challenges in Sweden. Now there is an opportunity for Swedish racers to take the short trip the opposite way and get an unforgettable race experience in Denmark.
The Danish south west coast is a unique location for adventure race. Miles of rugged, sandy, beautiful and wild nature creates a framework for the approx. 500 km long, team of 3, supported race. Sea kayaking, running, MTB, inline and horseback riding are the basic elements of the 3 days race, which has its origin in the national park Wadden Sea.
The race organization cooperates with the West Jutland tourism and business agency. This partnership has created opportunities for a race with high standards.
The race organizers are experienced adventure racers from the best Danish adventure race team: “Team Daredevils Adventure Racing” who have raced around the world for more than 10 years.
The race planner Torbjørn Gasbjerg says: “We have tried to design a race, which gives both experienced and inexperienced teams an unforgettable race experience”. And about the course, he continues: “There will be some very fast stages where speed and high intensity will be crucial. On other stages the terrain is so harsh that teams will literally have to crawl and push their way through the terrain. Basically we want to create a race which is "as positive as possible." That does not mean that it won’t be hard, but it means that it will be hard with meaning!”
More than 30 Danish and a few international teams have already signed up for the race, but there is still some seats left for internationals team.
