Wild Race in the New Hampshire North Country Opens For Relay Teams and Bold Solo Racers

The North Country Endurance Challenge, a new off--road multisport race in the North Country of New Hampshire, is now accepting registrations. This event combines paddling, mountain biking, and trail running into a single day of mountain endurance in the untouched wilderness of Coos County, New Hampshire. The event will take place on Saturday September 8th, 2012.
Registration is now open for relay teams of 2--10 people, and very fit solo competitors. There are two courses to choose from: a “Premiere” course of 65 miles (12--hour finish time) and a “Sprint” course of 31 miles (5--hour finish time). The Premiere course starts from the headwaters of the Connecticut.
River and winds through NH State Parks, over mountain tops, through twisty trails and quaint New England towns to the excitement of the finish line inColebrook, New Hampshire.
The race is a collaboration between the North Country Chamber of Commerce and Untamed Adventure Racing. Untamed Adventure Racing, best known for their iconic expedition adventure races, brings years of race management experience to the event. Combine that race management team with the local resources of the North Country Chamber of Commerce and racers are in for a unique race experience.

The North Country Endurance Challenge is a multisport race based from Colebrook, New Hampshire. Relay teams and solo racers will compete on a scenic course through the mountains and lakes of the region.
With 11 distinct legs to the Premiere Course encompassing 12--hours or more of off-- road racing, the variety and challenge of the event puts it in a class by itself.
