The Slingair Heliwork WA Lake Argyle Adventure Race

Simon Rimmer / 10.12.2012

The Slingair Heliwork WA Lake Argyle Adventure Race is done and dusted for another year. Another amazing chapter for this emerging sporting spectacle set in the stunning Carr Boyd Ranges of the East Kimberley.

Congratulations to each of our valiant competitors who took on the newly designed and challenging course with incredible feats of athleticism and lashings of spirited competition across each of the categories. It made for a memorable spectacle and will only ensure the continued growth and success of the Slingair Heliwork WA Lake Argyle Adventure Race.

Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to Glen Taylor who was simply irrepressible as your Race Director. He set the course, established the race hub, rushed about with frenzied intent and entertained and informed you throughout the day.

The most exciting element of the event was the partnership with our major sponsor that will continue next year. The date for the 2013 Slingair Heliwork WA Lake Argyle Adventure is Saturday the 24th August, 2013.  Should make for more comfortable though no less spectacular racing through the East Kimberley.
