Ever picture a mud run in the same room as a giant bubble bath? Welcome to the 5k Foam Fest! It’s the only obstacle race that gets you filthy clean, and it’s headed to 25 different United States cities throughout 2013. Picture a 5k run with over 18 army style obstacles, giant mud pits, and adult-sized bounce houses filled with foam!
They’ll also be bringing the Death Drop – the WORLD’S LARGEST inflatable slide! Stretching over 3 stories tall and 150 feet long, this thing’s the biggest obstacle in 5k racing! Think you can handle it? Check out the dirty details and see the video here, and here.
The 2013 5K Foam Fest season, put on by Round House Racing, is hitting up Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, and Missouri.
Each 5K Foam Fest event proudly partners up with and donates a portion of the race proceeds to a local charity in the city they bring the race to. The list of charities, as well as a full list of events can be found on their website, www.5kfoamfest.com
