Nalgene Polaris Challenge

The countdown is on, almost 2 weeks to go. The Nalgene Polaris Challenge is on the 12/13th of March, entries are still open so get in quick.This years event so far has attracted over 500 riders including some of Australia’s leading mountain bikers and adventure racers and with over $25000 worth of prizes competition is going to be fierce.

The 2005 event is to be held in the Comboyne/Lorne/Hannam Vale area on the Mid north Coast between Taree and Port Macquarie.The Event Centre, from where riders will start on Saturday 12th morning and Finish on Sunday 13th afternoon is based in the beautiful little village of Comboyne some 40km west of Port Macquarie, high on the Comboyne Plateau.The event area includes large tracts of State Forests as well as Bago Bluff and Coorabakh National Park down to the lush valleys of Camden Haven and Stewarts River

The theme we know already cows/dairy, who knows what the organisers have planned for the overnite stop. Farmyard Olympics perhaps, bovine discuss throwing, milking competition, all will be revealed.
