iRULE – Brand New Thinking

The innovative Kiwi brand iRULE recently launched a clever new website technology known as Just Try Me. The idea is to help overcome of the difficulties of buying clothing online … so racers around the world can buy more of their AR specific clothing.

Designed by iRULE Founder Daryl Foy and iRULE Advisor Roger Nesbitt, Just Try Me aims to break down one of the major obstacles to purchasing clothing over the Internet; trying the products on first.

“Until now, this has meant a giant leap of faith for those buying gear off the web “maintains Foy. “Rather than approximate the customer experience using 3D imaging, we opted for a more pragmatic approach. With Just Try Me, would be customers can browse an online wardrobe, select a garment and choose to pay a deposit through our secure payment services and borrow the garment to try on at home, something like a video rental system” explains Nesbitt.

Sounds simple doesn’t it? The process is but the technology developed to manage the process is unique. Just Try Me manages the borrowing, return and purchasing processes seamlessly. The new system was inspired by Foy and Nesbitt’s experience with shareware software on the net which enables you to download a program and try if before you buy it.

“We have had a significant uptake from the trial introduction of JTM with many of our offshore customers finding it secure, convenient and effective” said Foy. So far the system is available in Australia and New Zealand, but come April there are plans to extend it the Northern Hemisphere, and to their website subscribers.
