For the third time, from June 13-15, Arc'teryx offers three days of pure alpinism in the heart of the European mountains. After two successful events and 300 participants in the previous year, the Arc'teryx Alpine Academy comes back to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc to educate and inspire anyone from beginner to experienced level with an interest in mountain sports, alpinism and climbing. Packed with workshops, seminars and alpine experiences, the third Arc'teryx Alpine Academy takes place from June 13-15 at Chamonix-Mont-Blanc and the Aguille du Midi. The professional mountain guides from "Compagnie du Mont-Blanc" and British Mountain Guides (BMG) and Arc'teryx athletes lead the workshops that are geared to the needs of those who are new to alpinism, and for those who want to improve their skills and share in the alpine experience. 

 

The clinics offer a wide range from high altitude mountaineering, ice climbing to crevasse rescue, navigation, the Hilleberg bivy night and many more. In addition to the clinics, the seminar night on Friday provides in-depth information covering medical topics, equipment know-how, tour planning and others. On Saturday night, leading athletes of the alpine world present their latest films at the Alpine January 2014

 

Movie Night. Naturally, participants will have the chance to test the latest gear of the organizing brands. The Arc'teryx Alpine Arcademy is organized by Arc'teryx together with the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc, Hilleberg, GORE-TEX®, Petzl and SCARPA.
