Craft BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma
Transalp Reloaded - New Classifiers & Category Make 2014 Alps Classic More Attractive
News Release / 20.03.2014

The Craft BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma reinvents itself in 2014. Race Organisers came up with some new ideas for the 17th edition of the well-known mountain bike stage race which will make this highly-respected seven-day classic more exciting and attractive for everyone.
But especially for the amateurs, who are in the field's majority (photo). They will benefit from two new single racer classifiers which directly addresses to those who are not playing a major role in the title battle.
The Vertical 100 is a climb sprint classification over 100 metres in elevation gain in which every participant gets the chance to showcase his or hers muscle strength. The Enduro-Challenge checks the trail skills of every competitor.
In addition, the best youth team (U23) of the ranking will be awarded with the White Jersey.
Registration for the 2014 Craft BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma, which will lead from July 20 thru 26, 2014, over 581.97 km and 19,227 metres in elevation gain from Oberammergau (GER) to Riva del Garda (ITA) is still open on online-registration.de.
