ARC 2005 Schedule announced

Adventure Racing Canada (ARC) has announced its 2005 season schedule, which begins in six weeks with the ARC Urban Adventure Race in Toronto on April 30th.The ARC Adventure Racing Series is now in its sixth season, and the series and the sport continues to grow and receive tremendous exposure, in part through the popularity of adventure reality television shows like Survivor, The Amazing Race and Fear Factor.
The ARC Adventure Race Series takes place in popular and accessible destination locations throughout Ontario and cater to participants of all abilities. Disciplines include mountain biking, hiking and paddling on marked and unmarked trails, with the order and distance of each discipline determined by the terrain and conditions of the location.
The ARC Series offers all kinds of choice, so that participants can race as Solos, Pairs or as teams of three or four (co-ed, male, female & masters) depending on the race type. The races are 2-3 hours, 3 - 5 hours, 5-8 hours, 10-12 hours and up to 24-30 hours.
Participants range from the weekend warrior to experienced racer, and all of them enjoy adventure racing because they are an exciting, unpredictable and rewarding outdoor team challenge.

Collingwood – August 6, 2005 - Outventure, Enduro & EnduroXtreme Races
September 17-18, 2005 - Muskoka: Outventure, Enduro, EnduroXtreme & 24Hr. Overnight Races
Oct 15, 2005 – Guelph: Outventure & Enduro Races
