August Adventure in the Czech Republic

The Wenger Czech Adventure Race, a 55 hour long multisport competition, starts at the end of August in South Bohemia and is accompanied by an 18 hour long MINI race for pairs.

Competitors can look forward to scenic river paddling with inserted orienteering and via ferrata which leads along a river where you might get wet.  

Tomas Vanek, the race director, while commenting on the race preparations sadi, “We do our best to make the race varied. The MTB and trekking sections will be spiced up with  rope activites, ascending & abseil, rock climbing, an in-line skating section and MTB-O.“ He contiued, smiling by adding, “The CZAR would not be complete without a Bolscross, a strenuous up and down vertical challenge running activity arranged by Mr. Bols.“

To equalize the level for all teams the organizers allow them to skip CPs any time they want. The goal is clear: Get as many CPs as you can in 55 hours. It keeps the slower teams who skip distant CPs in contact with faster ones and makes the race more attractive for all.  

After the awards ceremony all teams from both competitions, plus the organizers, event staff and even the sponsors, will enjoy the Beer rally, traditional part of the Wenger Czech Adventure Race. 

The entry fee is 500 EUR/team and includes accomodation. Registrations for both competitions are already being accepted. For more information please visit the website www.adventurerace.cz.
