The spectacular Garden Route welcomed home familiar and new faces to the Expedition Africa 2016 launch that took place at Pine Lake Marina earlier this week.

Power Duo Organisers Stephan and Heidi Muller entertained the crowd with enticing information of what to possibly expect in next year’s 500km adventure race. Entrants are to prepare for multiple disciplines which include a sea paddle, a water paddle, rope work trekking, canyoning, coasteering and so much more.

The Garden Route is the perfect playground for course designer Stephan Muller to create his 500km masterpiece. The Power Duo have ventured all along the beautiful coast line and inland to gain ideas, and meet with various partners along the way finding unique and glorious trails and routes that will lead Expedition Africa teams on an adventure of a lifetime.

According the Heidi Muller, over 10 teams have entered for the 500km adventure race taking place next year May featuring the Lunar Chicks (RSA), Psychosis (RSA), Dar Dingle (Ireland) and many others. This phenomenal race is limited to 40 teams who will experience the captivating lushness and beauty the “Home of Adventure” has to offer.

The first 22 teams to secure their booking, will enjoy the luxurious views of the water facing cabanas of Pine Lake Marina.

Teams seeking hassle-free travel will receive free transfers from the George Airport, ensuring your ‘expedition’ is a phenomenal experience. This is the perfect venue for families and supporters alike to enjoy a trip from Cape Town or other parts of our exquisite country, indulging in the beauty of the Garden Route, while keeping tabs on the exciting and gruelling challenge of 2016’s Expedition Africa.
