The TransAllgarve MTB Stage Race is Back

From the 1st to the 5th of May 2016, five linear stages, covering the cross of the southern Portugal, Algarve, from east to west, five intense days of mountain biking through very diversified landscapes and trails.
The most touristic and iconic region of Portugal, and one of the favourite vacation destinies has now an mtb stage race that takes you to the natural, unspoiled and best kept Algarve.
Riders will compete on three categories: Men (to ages up to 39), Master Men (from 40 years old) and Women.
The handpicked course covers 460km with 11000m of climbing, trough the best trails Algarve has to offer, quick fire roads, pure flow singletracks, double tracks on cork tree forests, and clifftop technical singletracks with stunning ocean views.
1st day: Vila Real de Santo António to Loulé – 101Km – 2297m
2nd day: Loulé to Silves – 93Km – 1870m
3rd day: Silves to Monchique (Queen Stage) – 88Km – 3208m
4th day: Monchique to Aljezur – 86Km - 1927m
5th day: Aljezur to Luz – 93Km – 1742m
A maximum of 80 participants to maintain personal relation between riders and race organizers.
