BIKE Transalp Stage Details Announced

Just a few weeks after the 2017 BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma stage towns got unveiled the respective stage profiles and descriptions for the 20th event edition of the seven-day mountain bike stage race, which will take place from July 16 to 22, 2017, have been put online.
On their way from Mayrhofen to Riva del Garda participants of the anniversary race edition will conquer well-known and classic cols like Pfitscherjoch or Munt da Rina whilst also entering untamed terrain at the end of the mountain bike week. In total, the field consisting of the average Joe and pros alike has to master a total distance of 539.80 km and 18,185 metres of climbing.
“We had a dream for the anniversary route. Our goal was to offer the full dose of mountain biking over the course of seven days and to offer exciting tracks in the most beautiful alpine world. We were going for a route which is worth a jubilee celebration. I'm more than confident that we achieved our goal,” Race Director Marc Schneider said.
As a result, hundreds of mountain bikers have already signed up for their 2017 season's highlight with registration still open on online-registration.de.
