After repeated requests, the organisers have finally given in and introduced an Elite category. This category is open to both genders and will award cash prizes to the three fastest times across the line. Entrants in this category will start in the first wave at 7am.

Having trouble getting a support crew for the race? Offer them an all you can eat buffet breakfast whilst they are waiting for you to complete the bike leg. Café Akuna overlooks the transition area. Select the number of breakfasts you require when entering online. You can then pay the café on the day. Menu includes: scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, roasted tomatoes, hash browns, toast and choice of tea, coffee & juice. All for just $14.50 per person

Pro-Kayaks are offering paddling training sessions at Narrabeen Lake on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 5.45am -7am. Volunteers are needed for the Chase Multi Sport event. It is a great way to be part of the action without all the effort. Your day could consist of helping with registration, logistics and managing competitors. It is an excellent way to meet like-minded sporting people. Come and see what it is all about.
