Salomon Launches Free Autumn Trail Running Workshop Series For New and Seasoned Trail Runners
Press Release / 28.09.2017
Whether you're a trail running virgin or you're already enjoying the many benefits trail running has to offer, you'll be pleased to hear that throughout October and November, Salomon will be hosting a mammoth 60 FREE trail workshops up and down the country.
Salomon's Trail Running Workshop Coach Matt Ward explains, "The workshops aim to help beginner and intermediate runners step off the pavement and onto the trails. The routes Salomon have prepared offer a good mix of single track and open tracks as well as forest roads, meaning the participants will be able to improve their technique specifically on uphill and downhill trails and also gain confidence on a variety of surfaces. Runners will also be able enjoy the tranquil beauty of scenic routes and meet like-minded people who are also looking to develop their knowledge of trail running. "
Each event will be led by experts such as Skyruning Ultra Champion Donnie Campbell and Ricky Lightfoot, now a World Champion Trail Runner. They are on hand (and foot) to address any queries participants may have as well as sharing their invaluable tips and expertise on trail running technique, kit, ascents and descents along with highlighting the many benefits trail running has to offer both physically and mentally.
The latest Salomon's latest footwear (Speedcross / new Sense Ride) and packs will be available for runners to try which will fully equip them for the trail adventures ahead.
Beginner and intermediate workshops are available and registration is free on https://howtotrailrun.salomon.com/en/ where you can also watch training videos.
