Wenger Czech Adventure Race
A Big Adventure With a Low Cost – September in Czechia
Press Release / 27.05.2021
The 19th edition of Wenger Czech Adventure Race (CZAR) will take place in Dobronice, in the south of the Czech Republic in September. The competitors can choose from 444 km long race for 4-member teams and 150km for pairs.
The time limit for the long race is not strict; the time cut-offs which will help teams of different levels to meet during the whole race are more important.
”Despite the fact that the CZAR returns to the same spot after several years, the race will be unique.“ Said Tomas Vanek, the Race Director. He added. ”This year we updated the maps for orienteering as well as for the MTBO, will us an enhanced local rope centre and set up a brand new climbing area with 20 routes! Get ready for via ferrata, canoe paddling, abseiling and more … but there are no in-line skates this year!“
The CZAR would not be complete without a Bolscross, a strenuous up and down vertical challenge running activity spiced up with some swimming arranged by Mr. Bols.
Though there is no high mountain range in this area, the landscape is very picturesque with numerous villages, ponds and rivers.
The price remained unchanged: 600EUR per team if paid by July 15th, including event T-shirt.
