Canadian Adventure Racing Association Unveils New Promotional Video
Press Release / 15.06.2024
It's a great time to Find Your Adventure in Canada! The Canadian Adventure Racing Association (CARA) is excited to announce the release of our latest promotional video, showcasing the excitement and challenge of adventure racing in Canada.
Adventure racing (AR) offers Canadians from coast to coast a chance to discover what they can do together. We want Canadians to see the fun they'll have taking on unique hiking, biking, paddling and navigation challenges. Races happen from BC to the Maritimes, lasting from 3 hours to 5 days or more.
CARA has brought race organizations together to celebrate and promote our sport, using Canadian race footage to create this video. Viewers will get a taste of what AR is all about, encouraging them to visit www.canadianadventureracing.com for more information and to find a race to try.

It's a great time for the sport, with the recent release of Arthur the King, a major motion picture starring Mark Wahlberg prominently featuring adventure racing (hopefully coming to a Canadian streaming service soon…). Participation continues to grow, with more races and racers across Canada, North America and around the globe.
The biggest excitement is yet to come: Expedition Canada will be host of the Adventure Racing World Series World Championship, presenting an epic multi-day expedition race. It will be a great opportunity to showcase our country and sport as we invite the world to BC in Sept. 2025. We want Canadians to be involved, either competing against the best in the world, helping with the event or following along and cheering.
We hope Canadians will get excited, spread the word about this sport we love and get out and find their own adventures!
