OK, they havent quite told us where they will be sending us or what we will be wearing but here is what we do have...While many of us will be looking towards the festive season and summer with thoughts of holidays, relaxation and of course the odd event, the team at Wild Horizons will be furiously planning the odd event.
With this years Nalgene Polaris Challenge being the 10th Anniversary of the event, the emphasis may well be on odd. What will the theme be this time around.
Queenslanders from the news released it seems you may have to travel a bit further for the next one, the event will take place approximately 5.5 hours from Sydney and 6 hours from Melbourne.
For those of you out there in search of liquid refreshment, the Paddle Polaris should wet your appetite, scheduled for Feb 4th and 5th 2006 it will take place approx 4 hrs north of Sydney, which I guess means about 13hrs north of Melbourne and approx 7 hrs south of Brisbane

For those folk looking for a warm up the Picnic Paddle Polaris is on November 5th in Canberra and will take place on Lake Burley Griffin and for a weekend of racing and excitement check out the Brindabella Challenge on the 2nd to the 4th of December which will see the People Telecom Urban Polaris as an integral part of the action, more details can be found Here
