Open Adventure 2006 Dates

29.09.2005
Whilst entries are still flooding in for the up and coming Open5 event at Blanchland on 16th October, plans are already being hatched for the 2006 Season at Open Adventure Towers, with an extra Open5 event and details of all the locations now released.

The first event of 2006 is to be at the Adventure Race capital of Hebden Bridge on January 22nd, with Mick Kenyon of Team High5 taking the role as course planner. The year just goes from strength to strength with the MTB heaven of Hamsterly forest getting a look in and the natural wonders of Malham Cove in September. Race Director James Thurlow is sure that 2006 will not only provide great navigational challenge events but will take competitors to places where they can but gasp in awe.

Following the success of the first Open24 in 2005, the plan is to take the pairs only event to the Yorkshire Dales on the last weekend in July - ideas are already floating around the technical team for some great challenges, no doubt taking in the natural wonders that the Dales has to offer. As ever expect the unexpected.

And working with SleepMonsters, the plan is to have a new online entry system up and running late in 2005, when entries will open for events in 2006.
