The Big Blue Adventure Series continues this weekend on Saturday, October 15th with the Big Blue 24 Hr Lake Tahoe Adventure Race. This is a perfect opportunity to test your endurance and your limits on the eastern shoreline of beautiful Lake Tahoe. The course highlights some of Tahoe\'s most epic landmarks-Spooner Lake, Sand Harbor, Tahoe Rim Trail and the spectacular Flume Trail.ÂTeams of 1-4 compete in a variety of disciplines covering 80-100 miles. Courses are designed for winning times of 12 hours with the majority of teams finishing in 18-20 hours and the final finisher at 24 hours. Disciplines include: mountain biking, trekking, navigation and kayaking.
Final registration for these events is open until THIS Thursday, October 13th. Preregistration is required.
