X Adventure The Raid World Cup

The event will run from the 17th to the 19th of March 2006 in the Margaret River Region, and this time round there are even more reasons for the local teams to turn out in force, as the number of qualifying spots for Zone 8 have been increased from 4 to 6, this will also bring more internationals to our shores in the hope of securing them valuable points to place them in the top 40 teams at the end of the 3 qualifiers. The top 40 will qualify for the 3rd Edition of The Raid World Championships to be held in Quebec in September 2006.

Last years event showcased the South West of WA with some spectacular stages taking competitors from Denmark to Albany, some of the highlights being the run leg through the massive gum trees in the Valley of the Giants, the run along the Bibullum track and an incredible abseil of Cape Howe.
