Area 51 Throw weight behind ARQ Series

Race Director Craig Bycroft welcomed their new sponsor on board and is looking forward to having ARea51 as a major sponsor for the next 3 years, the series which starts on the 21st January consists of five rounds in SE QLD and is the perfect way to get involved in this growing sport, competitors can expect to see some great prizes from ARea51 at the coming events.

The newly re-named ARea51 Adventure Racing Queensland Series (shortened to ARea51 ARQ Series) is a great introduction for first time competitors as well as an exciting race for veterans. Each race will have a unique style and format. Teams of three will receive their maps and the course description at registration, one hour before the start. Events will mix up urban and bush settings. Once across the finish line, competitors can relax at a sausage sizzle and socialise with fellow racers!
