TrailPlus 2006 Dates
Rob Howard / 14.02.2006
Trailplus will be staging 3 of their popular Sweatshop Adventure Races again this coming year, as well the phenomenally successful Saab Salomon Hellrunner.The one-day Sweatshop races all had record fields in 2005, with teams of 3 lining up for 6 to 7 miles of off-road running, double that distance on mountain bikes (much of it single track), a short canoe stage and lots of fiendish and wet ‘special challenges’. The races are fast and furious and as they are run on a marked course are ideal for beginners.
This year the race programme will be as follows;
Sunday 3rd September \'\'Pippingford Park Paradox: Beauty and the Beast\'\' Nutley,East Sussex. Such a beautiful location ...and a monster of a challenge!
Sunday 15th October \'\'Woolmer Forest Frolics, Hampshire\'\'. The organisers promised they’ve managed to get the firing range shut but that\'s where their kindness will stop ...
Sunday 3rd December \'\'Weavers Down Winter Warmer\'\'. A repeat dose of the successful December 2005 event.
Full details and entry forms will be posted on the Trailplus website shortly and those who have entered before will get copies of the new series brochure through the post in March.
The date for one of the countries most popular ‘adventure runs’, the Saab Salomon Hellrunner have also been announced. If you fancy a go put Sunday November 12th in your diary and check www.trailplus.com for details.
