For some real adventure, join Performance Adventure Races on 5/6/06 in White Springs, FL -- This race includes trekking, off-road biking, paddling (in the longer event), mystery team challenges, and prizes for the winners. Enter as either solo competitors or in 2-person teams. White Springs is only about an hour west of Jacksonville, FL, and is easy to reach via I-10 or from I-75. Plan to stay over for the great buffet dinner after the races on Saturday. You will find more detailed info at www.PerformanceMultisports.com/ARseries.htm. There will be choices of either a SuperSprint (3-hour limit) or a Mid-Distance (6-hour limit) Race. It is part of Suwannee Bicycle Association Spring Bicycle Fest 2006, at Stephen Foster State Park. After the Adventure Race â€” SBA invites you, your family, and friends to participate in the Suwannee Spring Bicycle Festival, May 4 - 7, White Springs. Join riders for the weekend fun and festivities including great meals at Nellie Blyâ€™s and campfires. Saturday afternoon, listen to a live band, Terraplane Blues Band, (4:30 - 7:30 p.m.) while eating fresh corn on the cob and then enjoy dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday enjoy riding along quiet country roads lined with wildflowers or off road trails that wind along the banks of the Suwannee River.
