The First Dolomiti Adventure Race Takes Place this Weekend

The first edition of the “Dolomiti Adventure Race” multisport race will be held in the beautiful Primiero Valley (North east of Italy).

The organiser is “Gruppo Sportivo Pavione” from Imer (TN), a strong orienteering Team (last year's winners of the “Team Italian Championship” in the junior class) and it is their first time organising an adventure race. The race is part of the AR Italia circuit which includes 7 races with rogaining, AR and mountain orienteering.  All the organisers are working together to improve and grow adventure racing in Italy..

The race will have 26 teams of two, 20 on the long course (Expedition 51,5 km +2500m) and 6 on the short course (Adventure 26,5 km + 1120m). The athletes will compete in orienteering, MTB, archery, run/trek and abseiling.
