X-adventure Raid World Cup 2005
Zone by Zone - Raid World Championships Qualifiers
Rob Howard / 27.07.2005

In the end there were few changes to the qualification places for the Raid World Championships after the race in Andorra, with most of those already in the qualifying positions racing and securing their place in the final. Here is a zone by zone look at how the final race affected the rankings and who qualified.Zone 1 – Northern Europe – 6 Places
All 5 of the top 6 teams who raced secured their qualifying place and Norwegian team Norrona Multitude, who didn’t race, lost their place to Tietoenator Adventure. The Swedes didn’t perform to the level they’d hope, losing their way on the tough final trek on Saturday night and finishing in 30th place, but the 21 points they gained were enough to get them through. There are qualifiers from Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, and the group leaders, Lundhags Adventure, are one of the youngest teams to qualify.
