Full Moon in June
In the end...
27.07.2005

Well these are definitely the most difficult results we've had to do. Due to the torrential rain and the number of teams that turned back on the last leg, we made TA3 an unofficial finish. I truly believe that, had it not been for the weather, at least half the teams would have finished this race.Brian Gallant, FMIJ Race Director

What others had to say:
First of all our team did not finish but I thought that had nothing to do with race length or difficulty but everything to do with the weather. The race was fair.
Pat Kelly, Flying with a Diabetic
A big congratulations to anybody out there on this course. It was tough. And I hate to admit it, but it is the first 36 hour race Wendy and I have never finished. I know that wasn't the plan by FMIJ, but that is the "adventure" part of our sport. At no time did I feel the safety net was not available if we needed it, even though the conditions were difficult.
Chris Koch, Team Spirit
It was a great, tough race and everyone should be proud of whatever they accomplished.
Wayne Nyman, Outdoor Pursuit
