Simon River Sports Wins Beast of the East

Beast of the East Odyssey Adventure Race has its winner on Thursday at 9:00pm - Team Simon River Sports. They crossed the finish line at Claytor Lake in four days twenty-one hours. The team seemed in excellent spirits as they collapsed across the finish line. Because they came in an hour earlier than expected, the Support Crew was out getting food for the team.

Ronny, the Race Director, drove the team to the hotel to surprise the Support Crew. They were surprised. Tanya, one of the Support Crew, and Benoit, one of the team members are together and were so happy to see each other. It was a shocking reunion because of the early arrival by the team. It is safe to say the Support Crew was not expecting their team at the hotel.See All Event Posts
