Team Spyder keeps the wins coming with Soloist Travis Macy

MOAB, UT (March 27th, 2006) â€“ On March 25th, more than 300 adventure racers battled it out on a clear, sunny day in Moab, marking the official start of the 2006 Adventure Xstream Adventure Race Series.

Team Bagel Works (Matt Hannon, Andrew Hamilton, Joelle Ypma and Scott Swaney took first place in the Moab Adventure Xstream Race 4-person Co-ed category with a winning time of 5 hours and 49 minutes, just 6 minutes faster than Team Durango.org (Rick Callies, Mike Freeburn, Ashlie Angel and Brett Sublett). Third place went to Team NW Nike ACG (Ken Meyer, Mike Dawson, Peter Courogen and Julie Leasure).

Team Dinger, Team PointTech Apikol and Team Santa Fe Bear Pair took 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in the 2-person Co-ed Division. Team PowerBar, Team Willpowered and Team Stray Dogs took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the 2-person Open Division.

First place solo male finisher in the Moab race went to Travis Macy of Team Spyder 5 hours and 6 minutes. Second and third place went to Ian Adamson of Team Nike and Mike Robinson of Team Solo Hoockiepucker respectively. First place solo female finisher went to Ali Rockwell of Team Up & Running Online with a winning time of 6 hours and 31 minutes.
