First Teams reach CP1

Conditions are fantastic for racing with sunny conditions and muddy trails. Racers seem to be in great spirits with only the slightest grumbles about the mud.
Sean O'Donnell,Team SleepMonsters.us/Deer Slayer, has dropped out of the race due to bike problems. His chain and rear deraileur decided to pick today to quit. After removing the deraileur, fixing a flat tire and shortening the chain to turn his bike into a single speed to try and continue the race, it was found the chain was to warped to allow him to finish.
