Team 117 arriving at CP6: “You can’t take our passport out of the Ziploc bag because its’ too wet and it will fall apart.�
Lawrence Foster of Supplierpipeline when asked what the bush was like: “It was thick!� He also earns kudos for picking up a discarded glass bottle he had found on the trek and bringing it to the CP. I overheard him thanking the volunteer support staff for the time spent at CP6.

Every team I spoke with after completing the bushwhack commented on the blackflies with various degrees of detest – most commented that, in a perverse way, the blackflies made their trek faster as they dared not stop to rest. Except for Kurt Gibson from Subaru Canada: “Bugs, what bugs??�
