So CAL 24 Course Revealed

27 Teams Gathered at Paoli's restaurant in Big Bear Lake for the long awaited details of the So CAL 24 course. The news is out- the 24 hour event will start in the sleepy western film making village of Pioneertown. The course shows a barbaric amount of climbing, and a technical level of navigation and strategy on tap for the next 24 hours. You can smell the nerves and jitters.

Most were stratching their heads, wondering how a place so far away, could be the start of this 24 hour event. Bottom line, is these athletes have a lot of ground to cover

The vibe was, again, like a big family reunion. Racers from Mexico, Canada, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, all over California.

Veteran Christian Burke had to say "I'm here to enjoy these killer mountains, and do some continued preparation for the 1100km Patagonia race in February", he continued "this is going to a brutal course. We are up to the challenge".
