From dark zone into the dawn

The Malbaie River will be as busy as the St. Lawrence today, as a pack of teams battle and paddle to catch up.

Three teams spent the night on the river in freezing cold temperatures - Saab Salomon, Salomon Crested Butte and Adidas Natventure will be very happy to see TA9 later this morning.

The top teams, meanwhile, are heading for the first rope section, a rappel off Cap Eternite on the Saguenay Fjord.

Weatherwise this has been a spectacular race thus far, and day four promises to be equally clear, sunny and warm. Several of the back teams are still on the mountain bike section, and it will be a challenge for them to make the next cutoff.See All Event Posts
