Race The Rockies Urban Adventure Race
Race the Rockies Urban Adventure

It's early morning in Edmonton and athletes and volunteers are being treated to a final warm spell while they get ready for their race. Race director, Wayne Nyman has been busy coordinating final preparations for the support teams and the army of volunteers that have been arrayed for this event.
"For teams, there's hardly anything to get ready," he says. Wayne has designed the course to keep teams closer together and because of the urban setting, teams should feel more comfortable. "If they need a rain coat and forgot to bring one, they can just go buy one... or they can use their cellphone and call home to bring one out."
Race the Rockies is also providing support and boat delivery and pickup for teams that want it. Wayne figures that this convenience and low cost is why 26 teams have signed up on such short notice.
Wayne is planning on delivering a fun course for these teams.See All Event Posts
