As the day dawned in the Beautiful Glasshouse Mountains, a sunny day with blue skies heralded the launch of the Teva Adventure Series 2006!

As competitors started arriving they were introduced to the first of the Teva Twists for 2006 the Teva Fun One and Dash for the Stash! A cryptic clue held the location of 2 secret stashes hidden somewhere on the course, but therir loctation was up to the competitors to work out. But with 3 pairs of Teva X1C running shoes, and Mountain Designs Gift Vouchers on offer, teams were more than eager to crack the clue, and although the race organisers were keeping quiet on the location, teams did try a number of tactics to break the silence. However, none of the attempted bribes were big enough and it was down to brain power to crack the clue and uncover the stash!

The race started in a chaotic (a word which under estimates the madness at the start of a Teva race) mad rush with \'Prison Break\'. Team captains battled it out to be the first to break their team out of prison. Then down to the cryptic \'It\'s All About the Team\' before heading off on their first leg of the race.
