Finland arrives first again on day 2...

It was another hard day, with many tough ascents on bike. FINLAND arrived first at the finish again, but they may be facing a penalty - we are waiting for news. SOLE (USA) had a great day, arriving only 15 minutes after FINLAND, with Colombian teams SAFETY TREK NATIVOS and BOSI coming in only minutes later, and the French INTER SPORT nearly a half-hour behind.

I hear rumours of penalties, though. NATIVOS, in second place yesterday, may receive 30 minutes for something to do with yesterday's orienteering stage. This would put them tied with the French in yesterday's standings, and a much more achievable team for SOLE to catch.

FINLAND's Petri had brake problems today, and exchanged his bike - something expressly forbidden in the rule book. We are waiting to hear what Director Jorge Llano's decision about this will be. They are securely in front right now, winning both day's stages, but a significant penalty could cost them a win.
