A humid start and long sections of soft sand made riding conditions today the most difficult yet.
The final 30km of this 140km stage saw many riders having to push or carry their bikes over large stretches of sand and this coupled with afternoon tempertatures of 37c tested the resolve of all the finishing riders.
Yapp was once again the fastest rider in an incredible 4hr 37 min with Perths own Devo Devo bringing up the rear with an amazing feat of endurance in 9hr 5mins.See All Event Posts
