Stage 11 Armstrong Creek to Kata Tjuta

With the majority of placings already secured stage 11 saw a large pack of riders in excellent spirits cross the finish line together, bringing to a close the 1100km race acrosss some of the most hostile land on earth.
With Kata Tjuta as a backdrop and bush fires raging on either side of the road there could not have been a more appropriate finishing post, reinforcing in everybodies mind the enormity of the journey they had just completed.

With a time penalty of the slowest finishing time + 30 mins for any rider unable to complete a stage (for either mechanical or medical reasons), the final results were as follow:-
