The Tide Goes Out

Teams Racing with Giants, Stride, Sahwii and Venomous Ducks arrived overnight and all got a taste of the huge tides that follow the shores of the Sea of Cortez. The tide was coming out and not only made the paddle tough but gave them a long hike-a-kayak to get to the finish.

Team Sahwii was greeting with screaming fans as they arrived on the beach at 5:55 a.m. With the spring breakers still asleep the beach is quiet and calm.

Three teams remain in the canyon and we expect them out this morning.See All Event Posts
