Barely Legal is still out on the course, heading by now toward the bottom of the canyon. We are looking for them to exit before dark. A big crowd awaits them at the finish line.

Walking around San Felipe the beach is filled with tents and street vendors and teams full of epic tales of their adventures. We found Team Kayak Lake Mead having a beer and soaking up the sun at a local taco stand.

They shared their tales of the race and especially the canyon. "It was a great adventure, akin to the old Raid," said Robert.
