Volunteers Needed for 2007 Florida Coast to Coast

The crew at Adventurous Concepts is looking for people who: enjoy the outdoors, are a people person, want to have fun and so much more. Here is a post from the AC forum page.We are in seeking individuals to volunteer for this year's Coast to Coast between Thursday, May 24th-Monday, May 28th. This year's race will be held in Northern Florida commencing on the East Coast and Finishing up on the West Coast. Come check out the action in Florida’s longest adventure race! Individuals are needed for registration, checkpoints/transition areas, leaderboard tracking, medical support, driver support, etc...You can volunteer for one, two, three, or four days. This is a great way to get exposed to the inner workings of the sport. Thank you to those who have already notified us. If you have any questions, drop us a note.....
ROLES
CP/TA volunteer
• Punch team passport as they arrive into TA/CP
• Log check in and check out times
• Contact Leader board prime and provide information regarding team in and team out times
• Set up CP/TA area
• Read given instructions to teams as they pass thru
Leader board and Data collector
• Responsible for keeping leader board (physical board) updated as per race official requirements
• Responsible for communicating with CP officials to obtain updates
• Access Sleepmonster Leader board to update team’s progress (training will be provided)
• Keep hard copy of log as back up
• Maintain a soft copy of log
