Today’s three heroes were beaten to the finish line by team 8 CH’TI WILSA, first in the “Discovery category. This group raced over 214 kms with 9,500 meters of relief. Patrick LACHAUME, Yannick WOJTKOWSKI and Mikaël VIGNAL completed the course in the real time of 4 days, 3 hours and 21 minutes.

On the town square in Cilaos, while the winners were unanimously extolling the beauties of Reunion Island and the warm hospitality of its inhabitants, a third team arrived, ranked second in the “Extreme category. This was team 4, AIGLE SYBELLES ESF comprised of Lionel BONNEL, Benoît GARDEY and Michel SIBUET BECQUET.

Other teams are still expected today in Cilaos, the town hosting the Réunion d’Aventures 2007. The final competitors will continue arriving at the town square throughout the day on Friday.
