Milton Basement Racer’s make it two in a row, as they pull off another victory at the ARC Enduro Adventure Race held at Muskoka Outfitter’s in Bracebridge, Ontario on July 7th, 2007.

The Bracebridge course was a classic Ontario wilderness experience, as teams faced remote terrain, some gnarly snowmobile & ATV trails, and a stunning paddle down the South Muskoka River.

The race began on foot with teams traversing numerous marshes & beaver dams as they tried to follow a poorly maintained snowmobile trail. 4km’s later master’s team “City Slickers led the charge into the first CP, as they held a narrow 1 minute lead over the “Swamp Swimmers, the “Huntsville Rookies, and “Two Chicks and One Old Hen. Teams then had to visit three remote CP’s located in the Muskoka wilderness, this was a chance for the strong navigators to shine. The Co-Ed teams picked up the pace on this leg as both “Hunger and the “Milton Basement Racer’s were first out of the bush and into the Trek-to-Bike transition. They were followed by the first place Master’s team “Huntsville Rookies, the first place all-Female team “Ya know what? I think I\'m OK. and shortly thereafter by the first place all-Male team “No Chance.
